This page represents the following TreeOfLife-200M taxonomic path.[1]
Australoconops camrasi is a species of thick-headed fly. Based on observations of museum specimens, the species exhibits the characteristic slender, wasp-like body form typical of the genus Australoconops. The body displays distinct coloration patterns, including dark and light markings on the abdomen, which is a common feature among conopids. The wings are generally clear or lightly infuscated, and the head is relatively large with prominent eyes, consistent with the family's morphology.[1]
Australoconops camrasi was described by M. A. Schneider in 2010 as part of a taxonomic revision of Australian Conopidae.[2]
