Based on observations of museum specimens, Aulagromyza trivittata is a small fly characteristic of the family Agromyzidae.[1] The specimens exhibit a compact body form typical of leaf-mining flies. Key visible traits include a pair of membranous, veined wings that are generally clear or slightly iridescent, and a set of compound eyes positioned on the sides of the head. The thorax and abdomen are often dark-colored, consistent with the general appearance of many agromyzids.[1]
Aulagromyza trivittata is a species of leaf-mining fly.[2] It has been documented to feed on plants in the genus Galium, specifically Galium album and Galium mollugo.[3] Additionally, it has been recorded as being preyed upon by the bush-cricket Conocephalus fuscus.[3]
