This page represents the following TreeOfLife-200M taxonomic path.[1]
Aulagromyza tremulae is a small fly characteristic of the family Agromyzidae. Based on observations from the TreeOfLife-200M dataset, the adult fly exhibits a compact body form typical of leaf-mining flies.[1] The specimens display a dark, often brownish or blackish, coloration on the thorax and abdomen. The wings are generally clear and membranous, with distinct venation patterns characteristic of the order Diptera.[1]
Aulagromyza tremulae was described by Hering in 1956.[2] Like many members of the family Agromyzidae, this species is associated with plant tissues, where its larvae typically develop as leaf miners.[3] Interactions recorded for this species include being a host for the parasitoid wasp Chrysocharis viridis.[3]
