Aulagromyza buhri is a small fly belonging to the family Agromyzidae. Based on examination of museum specimens, the species exhibits typical agromyzid morphology, characterized by a compact body structure, relatively large wings in proportion to the body, and distinct venation patterns common to the family. The specimens observed show a dark, sclerotized cuticle, with visible thoracic and abdominal segments.[1]
Aulagromyza buhri (Meijere, 1938) is an accepted species within the genus Aulagromyza.[2] Members of the family Agromyzidae are well-known as leaf miners, and Aulagromyza buhri has been documented interacting with the plant Galium mollugo.[3]
