Atrichopogon sachalinensis is a species of biting midge within the family Ceratopogonidae. Morphological observations from preserved specimen records indicate that, like other members of the genus Atrichopogon, individuals exhibit the characteristic small, delicate body form typical of the family.[1] Due to the limitations of available digital imagery for this specific taxon, finer diagnostic morphological traits cannot be resolved at this time.
