This page represents the following TreeOfLife-200M taxonomic path.[1]
Asindulum montanum is a species of fungus gnat within the family Keroplatidae. It was originally described by Victor von Röder in 1887.[2]
Based on observations of museum specimens in the TreeOfLife-200M dataset, Asindulum montanum exhibits the characteristic slender, elongated body form typical of many keroplatids.[1] The specimens display long, filiform antennae and relatively long, thin legs. The wings are generally clear or lightly infuscated, with venation patterns consistent with the genus Asindulum. Due to the nature of the preserved material, fine details such as specific setal patterns or subtle coloration on the thorax and abdomen are difficult to resolve, but the overall habitus is consistent with the family's morphology.[1]
