Ecology and Distribution
Aphanotrigonum trilineatum (Meigen, 1830) is a Holarctic boreal species.[2] It is commonly found in meadows, wetlands, and occasionally in agricultural fields. The larvae of this species develop in the stems of Poaceae, including plants that have already been damaged by other insects. The species is known to hibernate as an adult.
