General Information
Aglaomyia is a genus of fungus gnats within the family Mycetophilidae.[2] The genus was described by Vockeroth in 1980. Research into fossil records has identified the species Aglaomyia curvipetiolata (Meunier, 1904) as being represented in Baltic amber, where it is classified as a new combination.[3]
